 1.First National Park: Established on March 1, 1872, Yellowstone is recognized as the first national park in the United States and is often considered the first national park in the world.

2.Geothermal Features: Yellowstone is home to more than half of the world’s geothermal features, including the famous Old Faithful geyser, which erupts approximately every 90 minutes, and other geothermal wonders such as hot springs, mudpots, and fumaroles.
